CEO – Mr. Jacky Wu
Mr. Jacky Wu is a respected leader within China’s textile industry, bringing generational expertise in yarn production and dyeing. Under his leadership, SAL has developed strong capabilities in raw material sourcing, textile manufacturing, and global supply chain management. In 2021, Jacky strengthened SAL’s vertical integration by establishing a state-of-the-art yarn and dyeing facility, giving the company direct control from raw material through to finished textile production.
In 2024, SAL further expanded its global footprint by opening production facilities and cotton yarn growing operations in Ethiopia. This strategic expansion enhanced raw material access, diversified manufacturing capacity, and strengthened long-term supply security for international clients. SAL was founded on his guiding principle: “Family working and laughing together.” This culture of collaboration, respect, and long-term partnership continues to define the organisation.
General Manager – Mr. Tony Habib
Originally from Australia and now based in China, Mr. Tony Habib has built nearly two decades of experience within the textile industry across international markets. Transitioning from the Australian retail and wholesale environment into China’s manufacturing sector, Tony bridges western retail expectations with eastern production capabilities. His expertise spans graphic design, product development, manufacturing coordination, licensing execution, and global sales strategy.
With a strong customer-centric approach, Tony has developed long-term commercial relationships across multiple countries. From China, he oversees the development and global supply of products and services, aligning production capabilities with client objectives across Europe, Australia, the Americas, and other international markets. In 2024, Tony led the establishment of a SAL office in Brazil, expanding the company’s presence into South America. This strategic move allows SAL to serve the Brazilian market locally while coordinating manufacturing and supply directly from China, strengthening client relationships and improving regional responsiveness.
His deep understanding of retail structures, consumer behaviour, pricing strategy, margin management, and trend forecasting ensures that SAL’s collections are creatively strong, commercially viable, and aligned with buyer expectations.
